Associate Broker, sales agent on a team with my partner in life Chris Toolan.

Started as the lowliest web geek and ended up VP of Marketing. Our department was responsible for websites, email marketing, photography, social media, print advertising, promotions, events and more for a thousand properties across three vacation rental companies and six hotels. Led several e-commerce website launches and one software transition. Specialized in making systems work together.

Marketing specialist for a high-volume agent, focusing on new communities and condominiums. Learned to make content out of nothing, when we didn't even have a floor plan. Site sales, marketing materials, maps, print advertising. Later transitioned to Village Realty Sales, where I provided marketing services to sales agents, as well as training in MLS and other software.

Got the job because I knew Photoshop and the rest is history. Specialized in listings, photography and advertising. This was before Heather married my brother.

I've had more jobs than you would think by the time I turned thirty. Worked at a software company for two years, producing educational materials for MBA students. Nordstrom men's shoe department when Joe Gibbs shopped there. Hippie bookstore, corporate bookstore. Nightly processor at a bank in Maine. Courier in Washington DC. Pizza delivery driver, dishwasher and terrible waitress in Nags Head and Kitty Hawk. Weird traveling job where I measured post office interiors throughout the southeast, including Swan Quarter, NC and Galax, VA. Landscape laborer. Cottage inspector.
